The Mercedes-Benz User Experience system explained.

Mercedes-Benz is continuously looking for new ways to meet the needs of its customers.

Whether it’s innovating new engines, security technologies, or connectivity technologies, the German manufacturer is always at the forefront of the latest developments in the automotive industry.

The perfect example is the new Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) system. Introduced into the new-generation A-Class, MBUX will be integrated into all new Mercedes-Benz models to come, including the GLE 2020.

Hey, Mercedes.

The Mercedes-Benz User Experience is much more than an infotainment system. Yes, it gives access to all of the car’s functions through touch or a rotary wheel, but all such multimedia systems can do that.

Where MBUX stands out is in the degree of personalization and integration with the driver and their preferences. MBUX adapts to the person driving the Mercedes-Benz thanks to a highly developed artificial intelligence system.

For example, if MBUX detects that you often call a particular contact in the morning or that you like a specific channel at certain times, these elements will be made more easily accessible through the system.

In addition, it is possible to interact with the system through voice commands. Indeed, just about every modern multimedia system can interact with voice commands, but Mercedes-Benz has found a way to improve this functionality over its competitors. The difference with MBUX is that it is able to understand commands that are spoken naturally and without being repeated constantly.

The first step is to use the "Hey, Mercedes" command as you would with Siri or Google Assistant. Once connected, you can tell the system to adjust the climate controls by saying "Hey, Mercedes, it's hot in the car."

The device will then be able to activate the air conditioning or at least adjust the climate controls to cool the cabin. This is just one example of all that is possible with MBUX. Users will notice the simplicity of the system and the ease of communication from the first use.
